The Mackinac Island Community Foundation offers scholarships to help area students with financial responsibilities associated with higher education. Scholarships offered through the MICF are for Mackinac Island Public School graduating seniors.

Youth Advisory Committee
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) encourages youth leadership development on Mackinac Island. The council is composed of a group of young people and adult mentors and was created to teach the community’s youth about the importance of philanthropy. Twice a year, YAC meets to review grants that meet youth-related needs on Mackinac Island. Grants from the Youth Fund may be used for charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes.
