The Mackinac Island Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2025 Spring Grant Cycle. Local nonprofit 501c3, school, or governmental organizations serving Mackinac Island are encouraged to apply for available funding. The MICF office is available for consult with anyone who has questions or needs guidance with their grant application. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, March 1 at 11:59PM.
In summer 2024, MICF conducted a Community Needs Assessment survey of Island residents. The study identified various challenges and needs facing the Island community, and MICF condensed this data into four focus areas: Capacity Building, Culture, Wellbeing, and Vibrant Island Life. These focus areas guide the foundation’s grantmaking, and MICF continues to prioritize applications that help move the needle in these areas of need.
More details including a sample application and instruction manual can be found at micf.org/grants. For any questions or concerns regarding the Spring Grant Cycle, please email Executive Director, StephanieMcGreevy, at smcgreevy@micf.org, and view a list of recent grants from MICF at micf.org/news.
